About.
Morgana was born in the Fae realm, but ended up finding her way to Midgard through a portal that her family had erected years before she was ever a spec in her father's eye. Born to one of the powerful families in the realm, her father spent most of his life in politics, vying for the throne and paying little attention to her. Her mother left her father when she was little, tired of being the second thought to his ambitions, left to be raised by nannies and servants.
While exploring the forests on their property at a young age, she'd found the portal. Though it wasn't until she was a young woman that she really figured out how to activate it, or even had a reason to. It had ended up being her quiet space, where she'd disappear to when she wanted to be alone and just read or practice her magic. But one day, she heard a soft voice calling to her.
She learned that her blood opened the portal, one of her ancestors tying the portal to the family line. And after activating it, she slipped through and found herself face to face with a young princess who was oddly enough in a similar situation to her. Raised by nannies and servants, mother gone - though hers had passed due to sickness when the princess was young, and a father that seemed to have no use for her save what she might do for him. The two ended up becoming fast friends, and in time closer.
One of her father's moves against the crown angered the current king and when he came to retaliate he came for her. She fled through the portal, and in trying to follow her, the king's men accidentally destroyed the portal, trapping her in Midgard with Guinevere. Guinevere's father didn't even really notice that Morgana had moved into the castle, housed and harbored by Guinevere now that her home was unreachable to her. In the growing time together, friends became lovers between the two girls.
In a bid to push his family higher, led to Guinevere being betrothed to the newly risen King. Morgana went with Guinevere when she married Arthur, giving solace to the princess that didn't want the marriage and also making sure she had a friend in a strange land. With how close Guinevere and Morgana were, it is likely no surprise that she ended up with the pair in bed, a constant third both in their love making but also in their relationship.
While Guinevere never was able to conceive, Morgana gave Arthur a son, Mordred. While she tried to raise him well, he grew up a frustrated and angry child, not quite understanding why he couldn't be claimed by his father. He trained with Arthur's army growing up, learning the ways of sword and war, and shortly after his sixteenth birthday left with the claim that he needed to find his own life if his father wasn't going to claim him as an heir. What Morgana didn't understand was when Mordred came back with an army to try and take the throne from his father. Mordred mortally wounded Arthur in the battle, even though he lost. Arthur was brought back to the castle, passing a few days later to the wound under Morgana and Guinevere's care as they tried to heal him. Mordred didn't die in that war, though he was injured. He took off into the night to tend to his wounds and plan next steps.
Morgana has run into her son a handful of times over the years since she laid both Arthur and Guinevere to rest. Though it's taken some time to heal his anger at her for feeling like she chose Arthur over her own flesh and blood. Centuries passed and she still hasn't been able to find a way home, but she has lived several lives both in the cities with people and occasionally as the whispered witch in the woods, hermiting herself away when she doesn't feel up to being social. She's taken lovers over the years but has been careful not to have more children, not sure she can take another child leaving her like Mordred did. She's considered it though, and as it becomes modern times, the itch to have another is starting to grow though, if she can potentially set things right with her son.

Backtagging. Yes, forever! I can at times become a turtle when work stresses me out, but will backtag forever.
Shipping/Smut. OTA. Morgana is attracted to men and women alike, and isn't closed to an open relationship too, she did have to share Guinevere with Arthur, after all. So it's all on the table for her.
Fighting/Injury. Open to this, definitely. But she doesn't really have much in the way of training past what she picked up over the years.
Killing. Would definitely need to plot, but open to discussion.
Looking For. Here for interactions that let me explore her. She's a character from upcoming Work in Progress so being able ot flush her out will help a lot. Found family over her centuries of living, lovers she's had to lose due to their aging and her not, lovers that might actually be as long lived as her, any Mordreds that might let her work on her issues with her son, cross canon, those open to original characters based on legends and myths, etc. Basically, I'm here for all things that will let me stretch her as a character.
